Mic/Audio (With Binding Audio/Mic Mode)Next the Mic/audio connections, these are both standard 3.5mm Phone Jack for microphone/audio (Headset, speakers, etc.) connection. The selected computer would have access to this connection or the user can activate the Binding Audio/Mic Mode.
2 USB 3.0 Type A Ports (With Binding USB Hub Mode)The 2 USB 3.0 ports at the front of the KVM are for connecting any additional peripherals to the computers this can be any external hard drives, Webcams, printer, etc. The selected computer has access to the devices connected to these ports or the user can activate the Binding USB Hub Mode.
Back of the device
Keyboard & MouseThe dedicated keyboard & mouse ports of the KVM are only for keyboard/mouse devices. These ports have special hotkey software for the hotkey switching of the KVM.
Monitor A and BThe KVM HDMI outputs are labeled as Output “A” & “B”. The A output receives video signals from HDMI-A (Inputs from PC 1/2). The B output receives video signals from HDMI-B (Inputs from PC 1/2).
PC 1 & 2 InputsThese are the input ports from the computers to the KVM. Each computer needs to provide 2 video connections and a USB connection. You many need adapters or docking stations to connect from the computers to the KVM. Input A HDMI sends video signal to the Output A monitor (usually the right side monitor), Input B HDMI sends video signal to the Output B monitor (usually the left side monitor). The USB 3.0 Type-B ports connect all the peripherals (Keyboard, mouse, Webcams, printers, etc.) from the KVM to the computers.
